HARTMANN LUGGAGE FLAGSHIP/PROTOTYPE

NEW YORK CITY

Hartmann Inc., the luxury luggage and leather goods company, commissioned SPG Architects to design a 2,500 square foot flagship store prototype as part of the strategy to reposition the brand. The specification called for a sleek modern approach that highlights the quality and design of the product while promoting a timelessness of materials.

The architectural model was developed to continue the aesthetic shift put into motion by a new advertising campaign developed for Hartmann. New concepts of storage and display were created to further these new ideas. The goal of the new store was elegance in the method of display and flexibility in accommodating the size and number of items from one season to the next.
